The following terms and conditions apply to all services offered by IW Design and Print.
The acceptance of a project shall be deemed as a contractual agreement between the client and IW Design and Print.

  • GENERAL
  • IW Design and Print expects payment by BACS, Cheque, PayPal or Cash upon receipt of final invoice.
  • IW Design and Print expects payment in full for FIRST TIME CLIENTS by BACS, Cheque, PayPal or Cash at our discretion before work commences.
  • Any payment returned by the bank will incur a £20 administration charge. This will be invoiced and will be added to the total outstanding debt owed by the customer.
  • Any invoices outstanding more than 7 days after the invoice date will incur a £25 per week late payment fee. Updated invoices will be sent out weekly.
  • Requests for extra work or changes to the project brief after it has been agreed will affect the agreed completion date and agreed price.
  • IW Design and Print cannot always guarantee to start work immediately on a project but will arrange a mutually acceptable date with the client as to when work can commence.
  • All material, both text and images, supplied by the client and used in the construction of the client’s project, will remain the clients’ property. All such material will be assumed to be the property of the client and free to use without fear of breach of copyright laws. The client agrees to indemnify and not hold IW Design and Print responsible for any and all claims resulting from the client’s negligence or inability to obtain proper copyright permissions.
  • The copyright for all material provided by IW Design and Print, such as HTML code, graphics and text, will remain the property of IW Design and Print until such time as payment has been made in full whereupon the client will have free use to use the materials. IW Design and Print reserves the right to use any designs we have produced to promote ourselves on our website, social media and any printed materials.
  • The liability of IW Design and Print to the client for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused shall be limited to and in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods.
  • If at any point during a project the client wishes to cancel, they may do so but will be invoiced an amount that IW Design and Print judges to be proportional to the amount of work completed.
  • IW Design and Print reserves the right to alter prices at any time without notice. If a client has agreed to any services from IW Design and Print prior to a change in prices, that project will not be subject to any increase.
  • IW Design and Print are not VAT registered.
  • WEBSITES
  • Upon acceptance of our website quotation, 50% will be payable before work commences and the remainder 50% will be payable before the website goes live.
  • All website content ie Logo’s, Photo’s and Copy are to be supplied to us before the design process begins allowing the website to be completed cost-effectively.
  • Website prices include two sets of authors amendments, further authors changes will incur additional costs.
  • All websites designed and produced by IW Design and Print are hosted by a 3rd party and therefore IW Design and Print cannot be held responsible for any server fault or loss of earnings due to server failure.
  • Whilst at the clients request IW Design and Print will create email accounts on the clients server free of charge, we take no responsibility for creating email accounts on the clients hardware (PC, Mac, Laptop, Mobile etc).
  • It is the responsibility of the client to check the final supplied proofs for any mistakes or errors. IW Design and Print accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors in any website material after the project has been approved by the client.
  • IW Design and Print does not undertake to maintain or update a client’s website as part of the design project once the site goes live. If a client wishes IW Design and Print to maintain or update a website, IW Design and Print will negotiate with the client a maintenance contract appropriate to the amount of work required. Website maintenance may also be undertaken on a time and materials basis if the client so wishes.
  • To allow the clients site to be installed, built, secured, optimised and fully completed, IW Design and Print must be granted temporary access to the clients server which must be accessible via FTP. Any work required to set up a clients server will be charged at £25 per hour.
  • IW Design and Print makes every effort to design pages which display acceptably in the most popular current browsers, but cannot accept responsibility for pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers released after pages have been designed.
  • IW Design and Print cannot accept responsibility for any alterations caused by a third party occurring to the client’s website pages after the site goes live.
  • IW Design and Print will initially optimise the client’s website for search engines but cannot guarantee high placings in search engine results.
  • PRINTING
  • Customers will be expected to provide the information for their print projects including Logo, Photo’s and Copy unless otherwise agreed.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to check the final supplied proofs for any mistakes or errors. IW Design and Print accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors in any printed material after the project has been approved by the client.

IW Design and Print reserves the right to change or modify any of these Terms and Conditions without notice.
